Banana and almond smoothie

2 bananas
40 g of almonds
250 ml of whole milk
nutmeg to taste


·         Preparation


1.    To prepare the banana and almond smoothie, we must first pour 100 ml of whole milk into the bowl of a blender and add the sweet almonds. Blend the two ingredients until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture. To prevent the blades from overheating, it is essential to proceed intermittently, blending for a few moments and letting the appliance rest for a few more seconds.



2.    Once we have obtained a full-bodied smoothie with almonds, we can incorporate the remaining milk and add the two well-ripe bananas cut into small pieces. We also combine a pinch of nutmeg and whisk again, to make a smooth and creamy smoothie.
3.    The banana and almond smoothie is ready to be enjoyed: we recommend serving it immediately and not storing it.
